It’s so nice of you to drop in and click on the tab to see what I’m saying about myself.
I have an entire page to talk about me.
I can start with the mundane, I’m a woman, living in middle America, raising a kid, pursuing my dream of working full time for myself, coaching folks and inspiring meaningful change in the lives of people I care about.
More interestingly
I came to coaching after years of working in kitchens. I’m a professional cook, baker and a passionate foodie. I’m kind of the flip side of those restaurateurs who went to school for a profession like law or marketing and find themselves drawn to the kitchen and opening fantastic eateries.
I returned to school in my mid 30’s to get a degree in Business Management, then a Master’s in Business Administration. I’m starting a fantastic coaching company which draws on my skills to listen, problem solve and create tangible action plans for all kinds of people in all kinds of situations.
And most remarkably I can boast about creating tangible change because I’ve done it myself.
I’ve gone from being super morbidly obese, weighing 350 to being regular sized. I returned to school while working full time and I’ve effectively stopped hiding behind excuses to live a breathtakingly incredible life.
My combined love of small businesses with my ability to think systematically and problem solve; and my capacity to listen, nudge and hold people accountable brought me to coaching. It was a germ of an idea that grew into this whole new profession for me.
I work with individuals and small groups. I’m working on workshop presentations and writing a book.

I read about you in tom’s blog, very interesting and cool story. We are launching a program called steps2give which would help Corporations create healthy workplaces and communities one step at a time. If you send me your e-mail address to Dmcgrath@HR.com i will send you a brochure. Maybe it’s something you’d like to distribute to your client base and licensing the program and pay you commission on all sales.
